Rewind Fantasy is a free daily game. These terms are the agreement between you and RR6 Consulting when you play it. They are short on purpose.

By using rewindfantasy.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. What the game is

You are shown a week from NFL history without being told which week, given a clock, and asked to draft the best seven-player lineup from players who actually played that week. One attempt per day, the same week for everybody, scored against what those players really did.

It is a game of skill and recall played for its own sake. There is no entry fee, no prize, no wagering and no payout. Nothing on this site is gambling, and nothing here is a contest of chance.

You can play as a guest without an account. Signing in lets your scores be ranked and keeps your history.

• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Making extra accounts to get extra attempts at a day defeats the only rule the game has.
• Give us an email address you can actually receive mail at, or you will not be able to recover the account.

4. Display names

Your display name is shown publicly on the leaderboard. It must not impersonate anyone, and it must not be obscene, hateful, harassing, or an attempt to slip something past the filter.

Names are screened automatically. No automatic filter is perfect in either direction, so we may also hide a name by hand. If yours was refused and you think that was wrong, write to us — we keep a record of refusals precisely so mistakes can be found and corrected.

5. Playing fairly

The whole game is that you do not know which week it is until you have drafted. Please do not:

• Use scripts, bots, automation or any tool to play, or to submit rounds.
• Try to obtain the week, the player scoring, or the optimal lineup before you have committed a roster — by inspecting network traffic, probing the API, or any other route.
• Scrape, bulk-download or republish the site's data.
• Interfere with the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
• Create additional accounts to play a day more than once.

We may remove scores, hide a display name, or close an account that does any of this. Where the call is a close one we would rather ask you than act first.

6. The game can change

Rewind Fantasy is under active development. Features may be added, changed or removed, and scoring may be adjusted. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time. It is free, and you are not paying for continuity.

7. Your content

The display name you choose, and the lineups you submit, remain yours. By using the game you give us permission to store them and to display your display name and score on the public leaderboard, which is the point of having one.

8. Our content

The site, its design, its code and its written text are owned by RR6 Consulting and protected by copyright. You may use the site to play the game. You may not copy it, reproduce it, or build a competing product out of it.

9. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores and statistics are free of mistakes. Historical statistics come from third-party sources and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RR6 Consulting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use Rewind Fantasy.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the game is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100). The game is free; this reflects that.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Privacy

What we collect and who else touches it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Ending it

You may stop using the game at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to rewindfantasyinfo@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and RR6 Consulting agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the game will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the revised terms.
